BØRNE- & KULTURHUS
....Det nye Børne- og Kulturhus placeres centralt i Taastrupgaard, Høje Taastrup, hvor otte boligblokke nedrives for at give plads til bydelens nye samlingspunkt. Børne- og Kulturhuset kommer til at rumme både dagsinstitution, skole og kulturtilbud, herunder musik-, billede- og dramaskole.
Børne- og kulturhuset udgør rammen om fremtidens læringshus. Et hus, hvor børn og unge leger, bygger, ideudvikler og bruger deres naturlige nysgerrighed og skabertrang til at udvikle og lære.
Huset skal være et fyrtårn og en magnet i byen, hvor der er aktivitet hele døgnet. Huset medvirker til, at området åbnes op og bliver et fysisk vartegn i byen.

The new Children's and Cultural Center will be centrally located in Taastrupgaard, Høje Taastrup, where eight blocks of flats will be demolished to make room for the district's new meeting point. Børne- og Kulturhuset will accommodate both a day care institution, a school and cultural facilities, including a music, visual and drama school.
The children's and cultural center forms the framework for the learning center of the future. A house where children and young people play, build, develop ideas and use their natural curiosity and urge to create to develop and learn.
The house must be a beacon and a magnet in the city, where there is activity around the clock. The house helps to open up the area and become a physical landmark in the city.
